Soldiers of Uganda in collaboration with police officers have raided and surrounded the offices of the opposition party Forum for Democratic Change (FDC).The party's leader, Dr. Kizza Besigye, who has been vying for the presidency has been in the office and Patience Atuhaire BBC reporter says police have left him while in their car.NBS TV station reported that Besigye and Mugisha Muntu FDC president have been arrested at the headquarters location of Najjanankumbi, the party's supporters were dispersed using tear gas.Dr. Kizza Besigye's wife, Winnie Byanyima, wrote on Twitter that the opposition leader is still detained in the police station with Gen. Muntu Nagalama.
